Knights Men’s Basketball End their Season in Ottawa

Knights Men’s Basketball End their Season in Ottawa

February 15, 2025
OTTAWA, ON: The Niagara College Knights men's basketball team (10-9) made the
long road trip to Ottawa to take on the 4 th seed in the East in a crossover playoff match.
They unfortunately could not pull off the win to extend their season as they fell to the
Wolves with a final score of 93-69.
The Knights fought hard in the first two quarters to keep themselves in it but found
themselves trailing by 20 at the halfway point. Strong games from Algonquin's starters
and shooting woes from Niagara's starters were the difference makers in this loss. The
Knights scored 22 points in the 4 th quarter, but it was too little too late for a comeback.
3 rd year guard Adrian Pajor finished his time with the Knights on a high note as the
leading scoring in this game, totaling 14 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 steal. 2 nd year
standout Kadin Moore added 11 points, 4 rebounds, and 1 assist. The Knights
struggled under the rim as they were able to pull in only 25 rebounds compared to the
Wolves' 37. Combine that with shooting only 38.7% from the floor and a win was just
not in the cards for the Knights today.
The future ahead looks bright for this Knights team and their new head coach, Lequan
Hylton. With 6 first year players returning next season, the team will work hard to build
and develop over the offseason with the goal of starting the season off better next year
and making a run deeper into the playoffs. In the meantime, they will take some well-
deserved rest and cheer on the Knights women's basketball team as they make a run
for the final four.
