Luciano Berardocco joined the Niagara College Knights in 2012. The local Welland native played his high school soccer at Notre Dame, before competing at the post-secondary level for both the McMaster Marauders and the Niagara College Knights. Upon his graduation, Luciano competed for Club Roma in the Canadian Professional Soccer League, when it was the highest league in Canada.
Luciano is the current coach of the Welland Premier women's soccer team where his club captured the 2013 league championship.
