Community Involvement

The Niagara Knights strive to be the best program in athletics, academics, and community involvement. In additition to winning six national and 30 provincial championships and our high graduation rates, we have also made a strong commitment to the Niagara Region with our involvement with many charitable organizations and events.

This past season, the Niagara College Knights Women's Volleyball team were proud to partner with Big Brothers/Big Sisters of South Niagara, United Way of Niagara, Welland Minor Basketball, Pelham Minor Basketball, Port Colborne Minor Basketball, Niagara Rapids Volleyball program, and the Burlington Blaze Volleyball program.

If you would like to see the Niagara Knights attend one of your events, please e-mail your request to Ray Sarkis, Coordinator of Athletics and Recreation at rsarkis@niagaracollege.ca. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to call (905) 735-2211 Ext. 7583.

School is Cool Tours

The 'School is Cool Tours' is a community outreach program where Niagara College varsity student-athletes visit elementary schools in the Niagara Region to talk to children about the importance of education, athletics, and living a healthy lifestyle.

Such topics include: setting goals, maintaining a positive attitude, and building a strong work ethic. The program is very beneficial and provides students with positive role models in the classroom. You never know, Knightro might make a special guest appearance at your School is Cool event!

This program is FREE and suitable for grades K-8.
